Summer Fun to Fall Fashion!
Hey Life Tribe,
Are you worried about what happens to those cute Summer pieces after the Summer? Do you think it is pointless to buy new Summer clothes halfway through the season? Why is it that we think our Summer clothes are only good for the Summer? There are so many ways that you can layer and change up your Summer clothes to fit in the Fall and Winter. Here are a few of my favorite ways to wear those trendy items a little longer.
Tip #1 – Layering
Layering is an easy and cute way to reuse some of your favorite warm styles in colder seasons. Just pair a classic tube top with a unique jacket or cardigan for an elevated Fall look or pair a bright colored top with a black blazer and jeans or dress pants for a classier look.
Tip #2 – Dresses and Boots
If you’re wondering how, you can make Summer dresses and jumpsuits work for the Fall, I’ve got you covered! Just pair them with some cowgirl boots or even a pair of your favorite booties to make the look go from warm to cool instantly. You can even layer a shirt under the dress/ romper or a jacket, blazer, or cardigan over top for those cooler Fall days.
Tip # 3 – All Kinds of Suits
One of my favorite hacks for Summer to Fall fits is to take a one-piece swimsuit and wear it as a body suit. Just put it under some jeans and pair a blazer on top and no one will ever know the difference. And you get to wear your cutest swimmy to more than just the beach!
One of my favorites is the 1972 Swimsuit! Just pop that bad boy under a pair of white bell bottoms add a cute jacket, a hat, and a pair of boots and it will be perfect for the Fall and Winter months.
Tip #4 – From Sun Protection to Style Redemption
Hats can really add something to an outfit in any season but especially in the Fall. You can add a wide brim felt hat or cowgirl hat to any Summer piece and it will immediately make it last through the next season. You can also take those baseball caps we all love to wear to keep the sun out of our eyes and add it to leggings and a workout top for a stylish athleisure look.
Just layer up, add a hat, and some boots, and you got yourself a cool Fall fit while still using those Summer pieces you just can’t live without!
