Fashion Celebrates Adoption in Style

Hey Life Tribe,

Did you know that November is National Adoption Month? Adoption is a beautiful option for the family that may not be able to care for a child. Many fashionistas have been adopted. Here is one famous celeb you will recognize whose forever family chose life!

Country music maven Faith Hill (Audrey Faith Perry) is one celebrity who has always been open about her adoption. From a young age Hill knew she was adopted. As an adult, the Mississippi native embraces her story. Never being ashamed of her adoption, Hill feels very blessed to have been adopted into a loving home.

Our COL1972 brand is celebrating adoption by giving back this month to our local adoption agency. Shop Now Culture of Life 1972 and giveback to adoption.

The history of National Adoption Month dates back to 1976 when Massachusetts Governor Mike Dukakis announced the first Adoption Week. Governor Dukakis' idea grew in popularity and quickly spread nationwide. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the first National Adoption Week, and in 1995, under President Bill Clinton, the week was expanded to the entire month of November.

Some sources estimate that there are about 2 million couples currently waiting to adopt in the United States — which means there are as many as 36 waiting families for every one child who is placed for adoption.
Adoption is a beautiful option to a mom & dad who discover that they are unable to care for their child.

There are 400,000 children in foster care in the USA and 107,918 foster children eligible for and waiting to be adopted.

Giving Back is our Priority.
Thank you, for helping us help others.
