Celebrating The New Year & Our 6th Birthday

January is a great month for many reasons; we cozy up to the cold weather, we welcome a new year, and we celebrate COL1972's birthday! It is no coincidence that January, or otherwise known as "Sanctity of Life month", is our birth month. Here at COL, we purposefully chose January to launch as it calls us to reflect on the inherent value of human life from conception to natural death—an ethos that is deeply intertwined with COL1972’s founding principles. 

A birthday represents the triumph of life, the miracle of existence, and the joy of another year to pursue our God-given purpose. As we mark COL1972’s birthday, we recognize that this celebration is more than just an anniversary—it is a reaffirmation of the belief that every life has value, purpose, and infinite worth.

Just as Sanctity of Life Month inspires reflection, prayer, and advocacy for life, COL1972’s birthday reminds us to take action. We know it is easy to get caught up in the business of life which is why this month, we encourage you to stop and take a moment to remember the unborn. Take five minutes to pray over those women who are struggling with what to do about their unexpected pregnancies and about the baby that is uniquely growing inside of them. If you desire to do more, opt to serve at a pregnancy center or donate! No God-honoring action (or life!), small or great, is insignificant.
