Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness

Although a lesser celebrated holiday, here at Culture of Life Fashion we are excited to celebrate President's Day- which falls on the third Monday in February each year- and the values it represents.


When we research the founding fathers desires for a free country, we see that they align with much of what our Life Tribe believes, and we know that defending these values will make our country a place of imagination, success, pioneering spirit and sanctuary for all life from the moment of conception to life's final breath.


Life: Our founding fathers knew that government had a duty to protect our natural right to life as granted to us by our Creator. This right is the foundation to all other liberties. Currently, this right is threatened, and broken more than two thousand times each day through the abortion, and here at Culture of Life we are aiming that the government protects the weak and innocent from the strong. 


Liberty: The definition of liberty is, “Freedom from arbitrary and unreasonable restraint.” Liberty can be understood as the right to be free from arbitrary or oppressive government control, and to have the ability to make choices and take actions that are in line with your own values and beliefs, so long as they do not infringe on the rights of others. The Declaration of Independence states that governments are instituted to secure these rights, and that when governments fail to do so, the people have the right to alter or abolish them. Here at Culture of Life Fashion, we appreciate that this means we have the right to raise children and live out our lives in align with our beliefs without government interference.


The Pursuit of Happiness: The concept of the pursuit of happiness recognizes that everyone has their own unique vision of what constitutes a fulfilling and meaningful life. For some, this might mean pursuing a career or education, for others it might mean cultivating strong relationships or engaging in hobbies and creative pursuits. The pursuit of happiness gives individuals the freedom to seek out their own path to fulfillment, and to make choices that are consistent with their own personal values and aspirations. Here are Culture of Life Fashion, we use this in many unique ways but try to glorify God through all our different ways of living.


This President’s Day, let’s remember these three inalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and celebrate the men who created our country to serve God and give us the freedom to pursue our dreams.
